I associate traditional medicine hat/war bonnet paints with tovero markings, which don't show up in TBs...but this dominant white version is awfully cute, anyhow. :D
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

Yeah this is correct, a "true", full medicine hat also has a medicine shield on the chest (apron) and on its flanks.

That white filly appears to have quite the engine on her.

Thanks for the clarification on Medicine Hat markings. Oh well, I shall close my eyes and imagine her with the apron and flank patches! :)

White Dragon(USA) 3C (Cowboy Cal) was second in his second try on Feb 5th after his 3rd place finish on debut Dec 23rd. Both starts were on the yielding turf. 2-M-1-1.

I would think that he will break his maiden soon. ;)

I love that White Dragon and Casta Diva (NZ) have been working together lately... Casta Diva races Sunday, wouldn't it be cool if she won too?

Beautiful white horses. If either White Dragon or Casta Diva are looking for a second career in a year or so, they'd make fine mounts for an Emperor. I believe that Japan may be crowning a new Emperor soon and, IIRC, pure white horses were the favored mount for such momentous occasions.

VICTORY FOR RARE KIWI FILLY
Unique New Zealand-bred filly Casta Diva has posted her first winning strike in Japan.

The white daughter of High Chaparral was successful over 2600m at Hakodate in her third race day appearance.

Casta Diva was bred by Windsor Park Stud and was sold by them during New Zealand Bloodstock's 2016 Premier Sale session at Karaka to the Dearest Club for $450,000.

She is out of the winning Zabeel mare The Opera House, a three-quarter sister to the former two-time Australian Horse of the Year Might And Power.

The Opera House's white Shamexpress colt sold earlier this year for $510,000 to the China Horse Club and Ciaron Maher Bloodstock.

So wait Casta Diva ran twice in the space of 5 days??? And she won second time out?
Guess she really did prefer the longer distance. And watching the replay of her first one, she got stopped and stuck in traffic, wasn't for lack of speed or energy.

And that fellow's blaze is very intriguing. Looks almost like the veins in wood!

Clongowes (New Approach (IRE) - Punctilious (Danehill)) owned by Godolphin seems to have some white in the tip of his tail, he's registered as bay.

About a month or so ago there was a horse in Britain who, having switched yards, ran 4 times in 11 days and won all 4 of those races. He's having a well deserved break now though. Wish I remembered the name of that horse! There's definitely a Racing Post article about it somewhere.
