Beautiful win by Snap Decision (Hard Spun - Salute by Unbridled) today, well ridden by Jose Ortiz.

Hi Gaelic Storm
Difficult to say who will be joining the broodmare band this early in the season. Carrumba and Browse will certainly be among them when their careers are over and it will be fun to see how the unraced Dancing All Night fares. Blenheim Palace has become disappointing, so it looks as though we have to look at the handful of 3yo fillies; Parade, Conspiring and Recollection. As I'm sure you are aware, there are eight 2yo fillies to look forward too.
Not sure i have answered your question?
on a side note, Daydreaming foaled a lovely Curlin colt on sunday. 4 foals to date in 2017 and all healthy.

Looks Shug has the horses geared up for Keeneland and a return to New York. Browse is in today. Hope she runs well.

Browse was second in what turned into a four-horse field when the #4 got loose and jumped the outside rail.
Also, the track is really muddy, and I don't know if any horse caught behind the sloppy kickback ever runs his/her best.

Some interesting races coming up in the next couple of days. Conspiring debuts on Friday in a turf sprint and Carrumba runs in the Vagrancy after a disappointing seasonal debut at aqueduct. Carrumba's half sister and early season works partner also debuts at Churchill Downs on friday. Revved Up runs later today.

Clockers say that Dancing All Night has some talent. Also that she is a beautiful snow white.Cladan wrote:Some interesting races coming up in the next couple of days. I like Revved Up, very honest horse. He will get a trip and win a stake.

A couple of maiden winners from the Our Country Place family; Myakka River on the dirt and Blenheim Palace finally won earlier today on the turf.
The horses have been running a lot better in recent weeks.
Dancing All Night runs tomorrow.
Conspiring and Bombs Away are due to run on thursday. Looking forward also to next weekend.

Nice daily double as Sail Ahoy just won at Monmouth. Dancing All Night will hopefully move up from from her maiden win. She has plenty of talent and it's great to have some depth with the fillies and mares.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:The pretty grey Dancing All Night just won the 6th at Belmont.

Emancipation, the full brother to Orb, just won the 4th at Belmont, a 7-furlong MSW for 3yo and up on the main.

A colt with a future and had been working nicely coming into the race. It was sad to lose Lady Liberty earlier in the year.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Emancipation, the full brother to Orb, just won the 4th at Belmont, a 7-furlong MSW for 3yo and up on the main.

Snap Decision was 2nd in the 7th at Belmont, but I think he may have been best. He got badly blocked through much of the stretch, but came running when he finally got room.

Wondering if ASTICOU TRAIL is ok. 3yo filly
She usually does pretty well and was one of the favorites in this race, yet finished last.
Chart said the she " set the pace for three quarters then stopped."

Good win for Bombs Away earlier today, on his turf debut.
As always, looking forward to Saratoga. A couple of nice 2yo fillies to look out for; Closing Statement and Barrier Island. Personal Time has also been working quite well.
Also excited to see how Browse fares given the lack of running room on her turf debut and whether Parade can follow up after her encouraging run on the dirt.

Looking forward to the 2 year olds. Personal Time a full to Orb and Emancipation, who looks like a runner, can't wait.Cladan wrote:Good win for Bombs Away earlier today, on his turf debut.

I would love to see one of those War Front 5 year olds win a stake race..

Recollection was retired earlier in the year and was covered by Medaglia d' Oro.Gaelic Storm wrote:Hi Cladan, Would you be able to share who will be joining the broodmare band in 2017?
Carrumba is due to retire at the end of this year. Browse will also be retained at the end of her career, although when that is will largely depend on how she fares on the turf.
Nothing has been decided on the remaining four year olds; Dancing All Night (runs on monday), Vagabond and Blenheim Palace who may prove difficult to spot for a second win.
Of the remaining 3 year olds; Conspiring (runs on monday) reverts to the dirt and it will be fun to see what Parade can do when she runs again over the summer.
Emancipation is nominated to the Curlin stakes, although Shug has options to keep the colt to an allowance.c
The current foal crop is a really nice group, so hopefully plenty to look forward too in the coming years.

Seems to be a little seconditis in the Shug barn. Hopefully that leads to wins in the second half of the Saratoga meet and good fall. Revved Up looked great and Browse ran her eyeballs out second time on the turf.

Nice win for Parade Yesterday. She got a good set up and won like a horse with a future. Hopefully that is a sign that the barn is going to turn some of those seconds and thirds earlier in the meet into wins.

Looks like Pendant My Flag's 2014 colt by Bernardini is ready to make his first start
Wednesday in a MSW at Belmont. PP 5 in a field of five, all of whom have starts behind them.
