Other jumps action:
Ice It (Tapit x Spice Island, 1/2 to Ice Box) is entered in the Queen's Cup novice hurdle stakes (R3).
Daddy in the Dark(Bernardini x Appealing Zophie, 1/2 to Tapwrit) is entered in the Middleburg Bowl at the Middleburg Hunt PtP (R7).
De Chera fell but was unhurt in the MHC, and Daddy in the Dark pulled up.

Ice It however won the Queen's Cup by a length. And looked mighty handsome doing it.

American Cleopatra, the full sister to American Pharoah, finished sixth out of seven in the 12th at Churchill, a 6 1/2-furlong AOC for three-year-old fillies.
I think she went off as the favorite.

Dream Dancing (Tapit) was second by a half-length to stablemate La Coronel in the Edgewood at Churchill. Her dam To Dream About is the product of two of Oxley's best horses, Monarchos and Beautiful Pleasure.

She was clearly not as into the slop as her brother.

Cambiocorsa is a heck of a broodmare.

Cambiocorsa should win broodmare of the year at some point.

Hard to Impress delivers

Hard to Impress won his maiden in his eighth career outing Saturday night at Lone Star Park, finally delivering on his regal lineage.

The Hard Spun colt is out of Grade 1 winner Zoftig, making him a full brother to Grade 1 winner Zo Impressive and a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Zaftig.

Hard to Impress was purchased for $60,000 out of the 2015 Keeneland September yearling sale by L&N Racing, which also campaigns Kentucky Derby runner-up Lookin At Lee.

That name sure shows how little different TB registries care about whether the name is already in use.
Spanish Steps is Unbridled's Song full brother, and is still standing at stud...Saudi Arabia, last I read.

Yoshida (Heart's Cry x Hilda's Passion) is running in the upcoming 8th at Pimlico, the 1-mile James W. Murphy Stakes on the turf. He's the favorite ATM.

Time To Travel (Hard Spun x Like a Gem) is up next in the Sir Barton, a 1 1/16-mile graded stakes on the dirt. May give us a good idea how the track will be playing for the Preakness.
ETA: First time Lasix, and Johnnie V. aboard. Like it.
