I'm not seeing the problem. It seems logical to breed one of TOE's half sisters to his sire.

LOL.....sorry....long day at work and read it quickly as Tale of Ekati (not his sire..) bred to his half sister from the same dam. I know even that's been done but I expect that more in Arab bloodlines

First Japanese foal by Eskendereya(USA) arrived at Taihei Bokujo (Farm) on Feb 15th --- a filly o/o Party Queen(JPN)[Agnes Tachyon(JPN) x Nicer(IRE)]. Nicer is the Irish 1000 Guineas winner.

Such a cute little guy. If anyone wants to watch the birth video, it's on their FB page. I thought it was interesting (but long). Dad watching in the adjacent stall. First time I've seen a giraffe give birth.

A little warning for the squeamish; the giant afterbirth and buckets of amniotic fluid land in a 'waterfall' right on the calf. If you are used to watching mares, be prepared for giraffe-sized stuff.
