With that breeding, I'd have loved to been a fly on the wall watching them break that colt.
Wonder if his nickname will be The White Warlock, lol

California Chrome's 2-yr-old full brother, Faversham, has arrived at Art Sherman's barn. He looks a lot like Chrome minus some of the white markings, but seems a bit bigger than Chrome was at that age. For those interested in seeing what Faversham looks like, here's a link to a series of photos taken at Art's barn: https://www.facebook.com/ChromiesPaddoc ... =3&theater

Also, Art fed the colt some cookies and promptly got nipped on a finger, lol.

He's actually quite stunning.

Sonneteer (Midnight Lute) was second to Malagacy in the Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn. He's a grandson of grade I winner Classy Mirage, who also produced Hopeful winner Dublin.

Thank you so much. I bookmarked the kei ba channel this time.
He showed a nice turn of foot there! Hope he continues to have success, and Leukerbad too. Sure looks like a nice cross with Deep Impact.

I saw this article today:

Ziconic (Tapit x Zenyatta) finished second in the 4th at Santa Anita, a 1-mile MSW on the grass.
The good news is he passed the whole field in the stretch to get up for the place behind the much-the-best Conquest SabreCat.
The bad news is that the modestly-sized colt wants to run from the back like his Mom, but he isn't a 17.2-hand Amazon with a stupendous, ground-devouring stride.
He is definitely better on the grass, but I don't know if John can figure out a way to get the chestnut colt into a race earlier...because that's what he needs to do. :?

Blinkers maybe(?), wonder how much more ground he would've made up if he wasn't looking at the grandstand.

Lady Frankel(GB), a Frankel(GB) 3yo 1/2 sister to Lope de Vega(IRE), made a winning debut impressively going 1600m turf in the Prix Calandria at Saint-Cloud, France, on March 19th 2017.
She became a TDN Rising Star. :D

1st. #12 Fan Dii Na(JPN)

This massive filly may not be qualified for ''Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses'' category.
But she is out of a superb tail-female family* : Glia(USA) - Coup de Genie(USA) - Coup de Folie(USA) ---> Natalma(USA)
And, WOW, she can be something really special!! :o
Personally, I thought of a wonder filly Fine Motion(IRE) with her racing style.
One to watch!
