Cu Rahy (3yo colt o/o Richetta) is entered in the Gr.3 Southwest Stakes (1 1/16mi) at Oaklawn Park on 2/20. He most recently finished 8th in a 1mi Allowance at Oaklawn but has placed 3rd in a few non-graded stakes (Kip Deville and Clever Trevor Stakes, both at Remington). Big step up for him, hope he's up to the task.

Delta Prince (Street Cry x Delta Princess), half to the great Royal Delta, just won the 12th at Gulfstream, an allowance on the turf. He's a grand-looking colt, and I hope he has a very good year. With that pedigree, he should be in demand as a stallion.

Terra Promessa went to the front in the G3 Bayakoa at Oaklawn...and improved her position. Won as much the best.

Congratulations to Curlins Approval, Terra Promessa, and all their misc. humans! Very happy to see that Delta Prince won, too. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was the last of Delta Princess' foals, wasn't he?

Yes. It's a good thing horses are unaware of deaths in the family. His sire and dam both died in recent years, and now his big sister is gone. That would put a human in therapy. :(

Irish War Cry won the Wood Memorial (Gr.2) at Aqueduct yesterday. Personally I never got off his bandwagon so I was thrilled to see the result.

My future horse, everyone. ;)
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

Curlin's Approval (4yo filly o/o Withmom'sapproval) won the Gr.2 Princess Rooney on 7/1 at Gulfstream, earning herself a place in the starting gate of the Breeders Cup F&M Sprint.

Also recently heard that Connect had a minor injury and was retired, can anyone verify?
