He won. It was a G3, so he becomes Zarkava's first SW.Starine wrote:French Derby runner-up Zarak (Dubawi x Zarkava) runs tomorrow at Meydan.

Delta Prince (Street Cry x Delta Princess), half to the great Royal Delta, just won the 12th at Gulfstream, an allowance on the turf. He's a grand-looking colt, and I hope he has a very good year. With that pedigree, he should be in demand as a stallion.

He runs a lot like she did. I was able to pick him out of the pack without listening to the announcer. I hope he turns into a real good one.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Delta Prince (Street Cry x Delta Princess), half to the great Royal Delta, just won the 12th at Gulfstream, an allowance on the turf. Morse Code (Tapit - Serena's Cat), Honor Code's half brother, just won the 6th at Gulfstream, a 1 1/16-mile MSW on the turf. Looks like he likes the green stuff a bit better than the brown stuff.

Not a bad showing by Naples Parade. The first-time starter walked out of the gate and was behind most of the field for much of the race. She really kicked in the stretch to pass almost everyone, and came within a head of the winner at the wire.
She should improve next out when, hopefully, she gets out of the gate better.

Thanks for the article. I had heard she was named after a young lady playing sports against the boys, but had never read (or looked up) the whole story.Plenilune wrote:Neat article about the human Mo'ne Davis:
