Avelino Gomez ... born in Havana, Cuba 1928. Died 1980 due to complications resulting in three-horse accident.

A good place to find names of horses and jockeys .... at B-H ... click on 'Racing' .... then click on "Entries". Gives a list of all races for that day and later.
