Exaggerator has been retired to WinStar, it was announced before the Breeders Cup.
Stellar Wind finished 4th (I think) in the BC Distaff and was subsequently withdrawn from the Keeneland November Sale with the idea that she would race again next year -- YAY!!
Keen Ice finished 3rd in the BC Classic, no retirement announcement has been made so maybe we'll see him back on the track next year, too.
Connect has not raced since the PA Derby but has a nice steady string of workouts, the most recent being a 5f move in 1:00:09 at Belmont Park on 11/12. If his next start has been announced, I missed it.
Irish War Cry (2yo Colt) won a 6f MSW at Laurel on 11/11.
Bishop's Pond (4yo Filly) won a 1 3/8m AOC on the Turf at Aqueduct on 11/10.
Curlin's Vow (3yo Colt) won a 1m MSW at Churchill on 11/12.

I swear I saw something about Keen Ice being possibly aimed toward the Pegasus, but now I can't find the article.

Well, I suppose his connections can't be accused of being too conservative with him. Good luck with that.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:I swear I saw something about Keen Ice being possibly aimed toward the Pegasus, but now I can't find the article.
Terra Promessa is entered in the She's All In Handicap at Remington Park on 12/11 along with another Curlin daughter, Curlish Figure. Don't know anything about Curlish Figure, but I'm happy to see Terra Promessa back in action. Clean trips and safe returns to both.

Dabster finished 1st but was DQ'ed to 4th for causing interference late in the stretch. Drifted out, I think they made the right call. Encouraging debut though, hopefully next time out he stays in a straight line.Calypso wrote:Dabster will make his debut today in Race 3 at Santa Anita (MSW). Ocean Knight WON by a neck. 2nd Place horse was Praetereo, a former stakes winner making his 63rd lifetime start who at 9 years old has been in and out of claiming ranks for the last few years.

Texas Ryano finished 6th, beaten 3 1/2 lengths.
Irish War Cry pulled off the upset, winning wire to wire by 3 3/4 lengths, defeating reigning 2yo champ Classic Empire and highly regarded Gunnavera for his first graded stakes win. I look forward to seeing more of him this spring!
Congratulations to Blindlucky for Copperplate's 1 length score in a 6f AOC at Turfway!

Yeah, he didn't draw in so the little meatball went out and won an AOC on 2/4Calypso wrote:Was on the AE list and did not draw in.Calypso wrote:Copperplate (who, if I remember correctly, is owned in part by our very own BlindLucky), has been entered into the Forego S at Turfway on 1/21.
