Just watched the post parade with Vexatious. Maybe she'll be a runner like her brothers, but I'm afraid the 'pretty' gene seems to have skipped over her.

I thought she was going to finish last, but she did make a nice late run to get third. Runaway winner was the Doug O'Neil-trained Shane's Girlfriend (Adios Charlie) whose name may be a bit of a reference to Dennis O'Neil's son.

I know Cozmic One hasn't raced since July 2015 but he had been working steadily for alongtime. Maybe they felt it was best to freshen him at a farm or something? Maybe they gelded him, though I doubt it.TouchOfGrey wrote:A lay off from what?PONYRCR wrote: Cozmic One's FB page said something this week about him and his brother getting back to work after a lay off

Show Me Da Lute (Midnight Lute x Tough Tiz's Sis) lumbered to a front-running debut win at 1 1/16 at SA for Baffert and Espinoza.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Chart says he "galloped out well"- maybe he wants more ground like older half brother and does his best running late like him.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Morse Code, the War Front half brother to Honor Code, just managed to get up for third in the 4th at Belmont. He was far behind the winner, the Tapit colt Exulting.

Either way, by WF or Tapit I'd expect him to run earlier than the Indy, Honor Code.

Nice horses like Silent Bird and Summer Revolution just prove what a loss Summer Bird was.
