Do we know if Peeping Fawn is still owned by Coolmore or if they sold her to Japanese connections?

In just one stallions book, 88 classy mares forever lost to the American thoroughbred. I think it stinks and shows just how badly our bloodstock is being depleted. This is one stallion overseas. Just one. And 88 of his mares are from the United States. :(

And people wonder why we have not TC winners??? Really????

The Deep Impact looks really nice and I'm glad Amelie is doing well on the track. Hopefully she can get a stakes win at some point.

That Deep Impact colt is very handsome (and half-brother to a new G2 winner since Wine Princes won the Falls City Handicap yesterday at Churchill Downs.)

Azeri is one of those incredible race mares who are actually passing down their talent to their offspring. So few are great racers then are great producers too. Like Personal Ensign was both, but I don't think her granddaughter Storm Flag Flying has produced anything that could run a lick. Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

SFF only has 4 named foals, 3 of racing age (one being a 2yr old of 2013).

In 1996, Saratoga Dew(USA) was sent to Japan to be a broodmare at Shinkoh Farm, Hokkaido, Japan.

When Saratoga Dew arrived in Japan, she was in foal to Storm Cat(USA).
Her first foal born in 1996 was a filly and named Lady Blossom(JPN).
Lady Blossom, smart sprint winner on either surface, retired to K.I. Farm with a record of 24-5-3-3 in JRA.

While Saratoga Dew has not produced any graded winner yet, Lady Blossom produced one of the best sprinters in Japan, if not the best, of all-time.
Lord Kanaloa(JPN), Lady Blossom's sixth foal colt by King Kamehameha(JPN), has won the G1 Sprinters Stakes back-to-back for five successive G1 win today. Many fans now believe that he is one of the world's best sprinters in training.

Thanks Saratoga Dew for coming all the way to Japan!!
I am looking forward to seeing her 2012 Harbinger colt's debut next year. But she is already a great broodmare for the Japanese racing. 8-)

Lord Kanaloa claimed the back to back wins in the G1 Hong Kong Sprint on Dec 8th, 2013.
I personally believe that he has now to be considered the best sprinter in Japanese racing history.

P.S.
I have realized that Saratoga Dew passed away earlier this year (April 4th).
May she rest in peace.
Thanks to the great mare, Japan has finally found a world-class sprinter.

On the bright side, Airdrie did buy her daughter Indian Spell (whom they sold as a yearling) out of the Nov sale.

Japan is very happy about Lord Kanaloa's success.
And it looks lile Europeans and Australians welcome his success, too.
But, no Americans can appreciate his success.
Does anyone here know why?

Because he is nicer than our horses, and turf racing, let alone international turf racing, doesn't appeal to many here.
