I know he hasn't raced in months but I'm a little surprised they have a conformation shot of him already where he doesn't look racy.

If he's anything like most from the El Prado line, he probably puts on weight just by looking at food.

It does a good job at making him look big. He always seemed like a smaller horse when I saw him at the track.

I wonder if his big comment has to do more with his bulk than his size. He wasn't tank-like wide, but he was wide than the average horse. I'd imagine next to some smaller European builds, he probably did look like a tank.

He isn't as ... quarter horse-looking as other War Fronts. I wonder if he'll get that looks more when he fills out/isn't a hand higher (exaggeration) at his butt.

I believe that he became the sire of the 2016 European champion horse, as his 3yo colt Almanzor(FR) dominated the Qipco Champion Stakes.

According to Charlie Fellowes Wootton Bassett just had 18 foals in his first crop. Pretty awesome to get a horse like Almanzor from that group.
