Honor Code may be the new stallion I most want to succeed. I love that A.P. Indy over Storm Cat gives you Secretariat top and bottom.

I know he hasn't raced in months but I'm a little surprised they have a conformation shot of him already where he doesn't look racy.

If he's anything like most from the El Prado line, he probably puts on weight just by looking at food.Mel Mae wrote:I know he hasn't raced in months but I'm a little surprised they have a conformation shot of him already where he doesn't look racy.

It does a good job at making him look big. He always seemed like a smaller horse when I saw him at the track.mariasmon wrote:If he's anything like most from the El Prado line, he probably puts on weight just by looking at food.Mel Mae wrote:I know he hasn't raced in months but I'm a little surprised they have a conformation shot of him already where he doesn't look racy.

I always thought he was small, but Dermot Weld described him as, "a big, heavy horse."

I wonder if his big comment has to do more with his bulk than his size. He wasn't tank-like wide, but he was wide than the average horse. I'd imagine next to some smaller European builds, he probably did look like a tank.mariasmon wrote: I always thought he was small, but Dermot Weld described him as, "a big, heavy horse."

I can't find a height listed for him right now, so we'll go with that theory.Mel Mae wrote:I wonder if his big comment has to do more with his bulk than his size. I love his shoulder and he has a wonderful build/nice proportions.
Shame about the legs and especially the knees. Was he always like this or maybe it's the stress of racing?

Those front legs are a bit scary, yes.Treve wrote:I love his shoulder and he has a wonderful build/nice proportions.

Huh, I was going to add a photo of just retired War Front colt Mosler for comparison, but says the board attachment quota has been reached

Not a totally fair comparison, since Mosler is 5 and AFB is 3.Retrospectiv wrote:
