Horses I've been following that now look like they are done racing... Kid Cruz, Norumbega, Top Billing. All had good careers, were more promising than their record shows, but had injuries. All could be nice stallions regionally.
Someone in Ontario should buy Reload - his half brother Philanthropist was an absolute stand-out stallion there, and Reload would fit well in Ontario's breeding program.
Also, Bedford Land - Casse did a great job of doing nothing with her.

There are several Phipps family mares in the sale, all of which have the expected gilt-edged pedigrees. The Distaff winner Pleasant Home is in the sale (I thought they sold her years ago!) and also a Bernadini-My Flag filly I've got to see.

I would be shocked if Coolmore bought Secret Gesture. They sell more Galileo mares in foal to War Front than they buy, with Mandy Pope usually buying them.

I would be shocked if Coolmore bought Secret Gesture. They sell more Galileo mares in foal to War Front than they buy, with Mandy Pope usually buying them.

You can never have enough Galileos when you're Coolmore. Especially when they're in foal to War Front and you don't own them. (I should say Sadler's Wells lined horses in general)

I think she branched out to Chanel when she bought a $10-million mare and the other crazy expensive horses in the paddocks at Timber Town. (Not to say I don't agree with you. Not sure how well those Galileos are going to work out for her in the long run at North American sales.)
