I think this is the answer.mariasmon wrote:Or the other 2YOs are progressing and she's not.Treve wrote:R Sunday Surprise wasn't totally stinking... I mean 3 thirds in 4 starts would be incentive to keep trying, but dead last.. seems like a regression.Mel Mae wrote:Hope's Love looked promising in the first start but then got injured and never lived up to that promise. With how the other siblings have run, that injury gives her a good excuse to say "She just never came back the same" instead of "She really sucks like the rest of them." Hopefully the Tapit(s) get more of their sire's talent.

Her two thirds werent bad. Maybe she is just a dead closer that needs the perfect race set up?

He's Bullet Train's first stakes winner. Glad to see both (half) brothers having success. Especially Bullet Train since I own a 2yo by him and it gives me hope he may actually be decent, haha.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Whiskey Train (Bullet Train x Enjoy), a half to Miss Temple City, just won the Armed Forces Stakes at Gulfstream. He's not half to Miss Temple City, though. Her dam is Glittering Tax.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Whiskey Train (Bullet Train x Enjoy), a half to Miss Temple City, just won the Armed Forces Stakes at Gulfstream. Sooooo happy to see Bullet Train doing well.

Oops. I heard one of the guys on TVG say something about him being a half to MTC, but maybe I misheard and they were talking about a different horse.

The half to MTC (also by Bullet Train) was supposed to debut today but was scratched. So maybe that was it.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Oops. I heard one of the guys on TVG say something about him being a half to MTC, but maybe I misheard and they were talking about a different horse.

So Mi Dar was a fast-closing third. Thought Frankie left her covered up a little too long.ThreeMustangs wrote:So Mi Dar is entered in the Prix de l'Opera on Sunday. No Minding, sadly.Mel Mae wrote:Hopefully she takes on Minding at some point. I was really looking forward to that match up earlier this year.ThreeMustangs wrote:So Mi Dar (Dubawi X Dar Re Mi) won a listed stakes at Yarmouth yesterday. It was her first start since she was injured in May. The Prix de l'Opera (G1) is probably next.

Rouge Buck(JPN) is set to kick off her Autumn campaign in the G2 Mainichi Okan 1800m turf at Tokyo on Oct 9th 2016. She is likely to be sent off as the top choice of the public.tachyon wrote:Rouge Buck(JPN), 2012F. Manhattan Cafe(JPN) x Ginger Punch(USA), has finally come back to winner's circle.
She won impressively in the G3 Epsom Cup 1800m turf at Tokyo on June 19th 2016, beating the boys, overcoming her widest draw.
I'm sure that she will return to the G1 company in Autumn.

Just glanced at her pedigree, her 2nd dam is Jewel Princess (Champion Older Mare and won the BC Distaff in '96 over Serena's Song and My Flag). Making grandma proudIzvestia wrote:Coup de Grace's 1/2 sister Dancing Rags won the G1 Alcibiades.
