'Grace's colt is attractive, but it's hard to judge the details when looking at a small computer monitor. But, dang, he's already over a million.
$1,900,000. :o Sale topper, IIRC.

I know the 'big' stallions like Tapit get the press, and there is also attention given to the freshman sires, to see how they do. But I'm interested to see how well the offspring of recently-deceased sires like Scat Daddy, Street Cry or Smart Strike sell.
Does the knowledge that there aren't going to be anymore, or maybe only another crop or two, increase their value?

Is there anything in tomorrow's session that might blow things out of the water? So far, this is the dullest KeeSep in the last decade.

I know the market is beyond brutal, but I'd let him go for that. Then again, I don't have her kind of money, so it's hard to put myself in her shoes.

I think it would. Buyers who are more "collector" types might see it as their last chance to get in on something. The Scat Daddy's have all been RNA or higher-priced. The cheapest that actually found a new home was $100k

Honestly, I don't know where the real money stopped. The announcer was very low key. I think they knew that the vet issue was a problem and this was the likely result, else they would've really hyped up the colt in the ring. Several key buyers were on the colt until the vetting. It's a shame.
