I missed the 85 PotN out of a Tapit mare, how did he look? He RNA'd at 185 000, which I find somewhat surprising but since I didn't see him, I'm missing half the story.

Hmm...103, the War Front x Treasure Trail colt who hammered at $950,000, is an RNA. :?
As is 107, War Front x Turbulent Descent filly, who left the ring at $185,000...which isn't as surprising.

I am not shocked at the numbers of RNAs as I figured there would be many, but it is making me cringe.. and at some of the prices of those RNAs... Eek.

142, Tapit x Wile Cat (dam of Shumoos) filly, is a pretty little thing. Lots of chrome on those grey legs. $300,000. Bet she'll RNA.
Nope. Sold to Shadai Farm, who also bought a Scat Daddy X Tashawak (IRE) filly earlier. Looks like the Japanese are carefully adding to their broodmare bands.

145, tall, handsome Tiznow x Wynning Ride colt, goes for $575,000. Seems like the Tiznows are selling well.

It is the title of a Wagner operatic play. (The last of four in Der Ring des Nibelungen series). It means Twilight of the Gods which is itself a German translation of the old norse "Ragnarok" the mythological event that would precipitate the end of the world and cause a huge war (and the defeat?) of all the gods.
It is actually fairly easy to pronounce as far as German words go, but you gotta break it up :D
(Approx: goy-ter day-muh rung).

166, a War Front filly out of Aloof (Galileo). Let's see how the buyers like this cross of two of the most noted (ie: expensive) stallions in the world.
$900,000. Guess they liked her. 8-)

Thanks, Treve, I knew the Wagnerian/Norse mythology link, but I can't wait until race callers try to tackle his name the first time.
And 152 is an RNA.

On TVG, Britney Eurton showed the 174 Tapit colt parading in the prep ring before he came into the sales ring...seemed to think there was a lot of interest in him.

The 183 Curlin colt has a tremendous female side. Second dam Aurora dropped Festival of Light, Acoma and Arch. And I missed the $ again. Can NOT seem to type and watch the live stream at the same time.

I see that 183 was purchased by Lane's End. Stallion prospect? Do they race their own horses? Interested to see which trainer gets him.

Yes Lane's End races, a lot of the time they are a co-owner. But sometimes, you will see a horse race with just W.S. Farish as the owner, such as Eagle. They've been in on Honor Code, Mineshaft, Secret Status, to name a few.
