Made You Look won easily, drawing away once he got running room. He was boxed in on the rail for much of the race. Gemologister was in front for quite a while, but faded.
Serena’s Song Grandson Made You Look Takes With Anticipation
Pletcher said the Grade 3 Pilgrim at Belmont Oct. 1 could be Made You Look's next start, though added he might train the colt up to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf without another race.

Sooooo happy about this. His dam so looked the part of being a champ, ran once and never again. Nice to see her son taking up the mantle and continuing his Granddam's legacy.

I hope Gold Serenade will run at Keeneland next month. She's been training and working for quite a while. I'd like to see what she looks like now, since she was such a pretty foal.

I also had a chance to peek in the stall and see Night and Day's 2016 foal, an enormous Verrazano colt. He came out super-sized. Night and Day is a tall mare. Hope the colt's growth slows down a bit, so he's not a 17-hand 2YO.

Lull (War Front out of a half sister to Saint Liam) rebounded well from her last race on 8/17, where she clipped heels and fell, to win the $200k Exacta System Juvenile Fillies at Kentucky Downs today over a full field of 12.

Glad to see their purchase of Quiet Now is repaying them. Claiborne doesn't buy very often and they went almost to $2 million to get her.

And I think she was the cheapest of Saint Liam's sisters to sell in that dispersal!

Dickinson (Medaglia d'Oro), who's the only daughter of the late Little Belle, won today at Parx, 7.5F on turf. Not sure if she's run on the grass before today and am too lazy to research it.

GS has indeed been working alot at Keenland. Think her last work was another gate work.

Night and Day must have gotten that size from her sire, because we all know it didnt come from her dam, lol. I heard her Verrazano was a biggen.

Bendable (Horse Greeley x Bend) upset Enola Gray in the Beverley J. Lewis today. She's a full sister to millionaire and new track record-setter Clearly Now.
