Conquest Stables, LLC, a multiple graded stakes-winning owner, has announced that it will have a complete dispersal of racing and breeding stock at the Keeneland November Sale this fall. Lane's End will act as consignor for Conquest Stables, LLC.

I hate to see owners who have been so successful suddenly leave the sport. Whatever the "personal reasons" are, I hope that Mr. Semersky and his partner return someday. We need owners like this who so involved in both racing and breeding.
I wonder how much My Conquestadory, who is in foal to Tapit, will sell for.

I'm going to miss their social media, they really were actively involved in the best way an owner could be.
Wish I had a couple mill laying around.

This is really disappointing. They had put so much into the sport over the last few years and were so enthusiastic about it... It reminds me Regis Farm - tons of money and time put into racing over 2-3 years, then poof!

I'd be curious to see how much they spent compared to how much they won, and any other money earned from their horses (claims, stallion deal, auction). Be willing to bet spent is more than earned.
They had some nice ones along the way, and they really engaged with fans.
Regis was not nearly as successful as Conquest I'd say.

I looked at their auction purchases and how much their stable has earned.

Earnings: $7,081,892

Spent at Auction(2012 - 2015): $27,694,000

This is sad. I really enjoyed the way they connected with their fans. They put a lot of time, effort, and (apparently!) money into this sport so it's sad to see such an owner leave it all behind.

It really is sad to see this stable shut down.

Interesting that in the eighth race at Woodbine today they had a horse win named...Conquest See Ya.

I've seen folks leave the game for many different reasons, but have to say this is the first time I've seen Attention Deficit Disorder. :?
