I sure hope he improves off this race, or Coolmore may find themselves in possession of the best-bred hunter/jumper prospect on the planet. :(
Now there's a thought! Teach him to jump and make him a hurdling/steeplechasing superstar!

With a Hall of Fame sibling and excellent parents...now both deceased...I have to think that the handsome hunk is going to get to keep his family jewels.

Remember Spa stakes winner La Traviata? Her daughter Seventh Heaven took the Irish Oaks.

The sire of the winner, of course, is Galileo.

Rags To Riches Galileo colt Never So Few just ran at Belmont in a MSW. 6th of 7. He's just...slow.

Galileo may be King of the World, but apparently Rags doesn't care much for him. :P
Would love to see her bred to a true dirt sire. Maybe American Pharoah would be more to her liking? ;)

That's Emperor of the World to you :D
In all fairness she did get two winners from him (and ok, granted one is in Serbia...) but I'd like to see her with Empire Maker/Bodemeister/PotN/Pharoah/Cairo Prince. Then again she's got plenty of stamina maybe a 'miler' could be a potent combination?

One of my friends saw her get bred to Uncle Mo for a foal next year.

I'm glad, if that's the case. She was originally announced in American Pharoah's book.

Interesting. They brought her over here for Pharoah. I'm surprised they flipped.

Maybe it had to do with the timing of her cycle? If AP was fully booked when she was most receptive, perhaps Coolmore went with their second option?

He could very well be wrong, but he insisted it was Uncle Mo when I questioned him about it.

Neither choice would surprise me in the end, it's just a little surprising since they were so vocal about her coming over for Pharoah. They usually keep breeding plans pretty quiet so it'd be ironic if she switched when they weren't.

She's Not Here (Street Cry x Where's Bailey) defended her title in the G2 Yellow Ribbon at Del Mar. :D

Kind of made up for her "uncle's" (dam's half-bro) utter mess of a debut this morning, haha.

Is there a replay of the Curragh race somewhere? Looked a couple of places but can't find it...
