Msw or stakes, I don't think it matters much when they're 2yos in May. They're all unknowns right now.

Wow, 8 lengths? Whew...... I'm not sure if he's a closing sprinter - probably based on his dam side pedigree - but I'm so glad that Stay Thirsty is off to a promising start. He was a really good racehorse and I have high hopes for him (and he's been pretty overlooked as a freshman sire, so I'd love for him to surprise people)

Proconsul, Frankel's 3yo brother, finished 8th in his debut today at Chantilly. Andre Fabre said he was in "desperate" need of experience, so maybe the light bulb will go on next time.

Smart Odin(JPN), 2013C. Danon Chantilly(JPN) x Lady Upstage(IRE), scored his 3rd graded wins impressively in the G2 Kyoto Shimbun Hai 2200m turf at Kyoto on May 7th 2016. He is going to be a major contender for the Japanese Derby.
Leukerbad(JPN), Deep Impact(JPN) x Azeri(USA), ran well to finish 3rd.
He will miss the Derby, but he could be a late-bloomer like his dam.

Midterm (Galileo x Midday) won the G3 Classic Trial at Sandown today.

He finished 5th and never fired.

The winner Wings of Desire, is by Pivotal and is a half brother to Grade 1 winner Eagle Top. He is trained by John Gosden and was ridden by Frankie Dettori, same trainer/jockey combination as last year's Dante/Derby winner Golden Horn.

Gosden said: "He's freakish. He was showing me things early on [last year] that made me think 'goodness'.

"He's still learning. I confess this horse never did a piece of half speed [work] until the middle of March. His two favourite activities are eating and sleeping."

He added: "I took him out of the Derby in March and my plan was the King Edward VII at Ascot which his brother won, but my plan has changed. All being well he'll go to Epsom and we'll take him there to have a feel of the hill [at the Breakfast with the Stars] as he's still a baby."
