NIKKIS SMARTYPANTS stumbled leaving the gate then angled to the rail and was outrun.

Run Smart One ran a tiring third in a $5,000 one-mile claimer at Calder 11/30.
(I am impressed how smart this horse is -- he runs his race and doesn't overtry)
I don't think retirement is in the cards for him.

Francois finished a respectable 2nd, outrunning his odds -- and I'm pretty sure this puts him over $200K in earnings. CI, on the other hand, apparently would have rather stayed in his stall.
