I'm especially excited about the Proud Citizen/Ms. Cornstalk filly. I was a huge fan of both Biofuel and the late Tu Endie Wei. Here's hoping their half sister runs as well as each of them. Many thanks for this info.

Bail Out Kitten had a good looking Hard Spun colt this afternoon by cesarean section. Both mare and foal are doing fine. (Sorry I said filly earlier--oops)

Wow, hope the mare recovers well.

And I know I shouldn't read the comments (I know!) but I had to LOL at the person who asked "Not in a hospital?" and was told "That is an equine hospital" and came back with "With straw???"

I love the "with straw?" comment. Love it. Wanted to say something but I just need to shoosh. Also, all the people asking what could possibly cause a horse to undergo a C-section - I really want to send them a link to Google.
