Two mares will be sent to be covered by American Pharoah at Coolmore's Ashford Stud: More Hennessy, dam of 2014 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf winner Hootenanny and a $1.5m purchase at Fasig-Tipton last November while carrying a foal by Galileo, and Funny Feeling, a sister to Grade 1 winner Jimmy Creed.

Its commonplace for farms to give an update of when their first year stallion gets the first mare confirmed in foal. Every year Bloodhorse has articles about all the new stallions.

But if Coolmore wants to give his fans updates about him, what else are they going to say? His everyday is the same routine.

Gosh, Izvestia, I hope this wasn't a response to my post above it about More Hennessy and Funny Feeling going to American Pharoah in 2016. Coolmore didn't announce it, Summer Wind did. This is the Matings 2016 thread, so I posted it here. Don't know if they'll get pregnant.

Not really in response to you, but just to the constant reporting of what he has for breakfast and who is currently visiting him. I saw this somewhere else other than here. My fear is that 200+ breedings and announcements of "in foal" will be a bit tiresome. He was fantastic - a helluva racehorse. There are other things going on in this industry besides his virility.

Ah, okay. Personally, I'm extremely happy to hear anything about horses standing at stud, stallions and mares. You may not be old enough to remember how hard it used to be to get that info. Thankfully, social media has replaced getting info from a friend of a friend with a friend who works for...lol.

Don Alberto stated that their new purchase, Angela Renee, is likely to visit Empire Maker.

Looks like Angela Renee's date with Empire Maker is on hold. She's entered in an AOC race Thursday at Aqueduct. She was sold at F-T Nov15 sale to Don Alberto Corp. for $3 million.
