Curlin's "On a Roll," isn't he?
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

"...the people who bought him are thinking long-term as a stallion."

He must be an impressive individual, if he inspires that sort of talk.

I hope that Discreet Cat X Intangaroo colt turns out to be a runner. Poor guy, sold for $25k. Of course that's not chumps change, just always have a soft spot for the "low horse" at a sale. Intangaroo was a nice runner, but I think she wasn't much to look on.

Seems like the trend continues. Lots of competition and money for what is perceived as quality at the very top of the market. Not so much for the rest. I'm thinking if there's physical flaws, there's little interest. But we've all seen how that can turn out.

Hip 154 C BODEMEISTER - EXCEPTIONALLY by El Prado (IRE) sold for $250k, and he turned in a great breeze. He was a $235k purchase as a yearling.
