Well! I wondered if this might be his endgame. War Emblem's dedication to his extreme dislike for breeding mares is truly next level.

The only real deterrent to gelding a stallion of his age is just the risk of surgery. Knowing that he's in great health after the fact is great. I love some of the tales from the Old Friends folks about his attitude. "It’s like being back in Catholic school.”
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

The people who had him in Japan from Shadai came to visit him, and they said he was too smart for his own good.
How nice of his former owners to come visit him. That's a long haul. They obviously were fond of him, even with his temperamental nature.
Once upon a time there was a horse named Kelso.

I feel like he could be used for any given storybook propaganda like... Maybe he's gay. Maybe he's just morally upright. Maybe he was monogamous. Who knows.
Dos Equis should use him as their new mascot, the most interesting horse in the world.
