So sorry for the delay in the results, here they are, at long last:

Yesterday’s BOTS was run on a great winter afternoon and evening at Delta. Cigarshop, Oaklawn Capper, Catalina, and Blunny had a good start, the others not quite as fast but trying to catch up to the front runners. Criminal Type, well, it wasn’t his day. Like a good team player he steadfastly completed the distance, but was getting farther and farther behind. He walked off the track after crossing the wire, and is expected to get a thorough check-up.

In the first half of the course, all but the front runners had slow fractions, with Tiger Dancer and Blunny doing best. But, after the mid-point, everybody except for Criminal Type tried for at least one burst of speed. The freshly rested Cigarshop woke up and overtook Blunny, trying for a match race with Tiger Dancer, but Tiger Dancer prevailed, and added another BOTS victory for the fillies to the 2016 record. Yeah, fillies!!!
