Super Saver has thrown some runners, but I don't love their lack of soundness.

Al Khali is a bit long in the back, but I still kinda like him.

Keane is a New York farm, yes? Nice bunch of stallions for that state's breeding program.
Normandy' is as elegant as I remember, The Lumber Guy seems to combine good things from both his sire, Grand Slam, and his damsire, Unbridled's Song, Al Khali is a bit long through his body, and Frost Giant really resembles his sire.

No, he injured himself during the Derby and then again during the Travers. Pretty sure that was the leg that he injured.

ETA: Yep, it was his right front that he injured.

Tonalist is an attractive colt, all legs and big-boned as heck. That roach back is the only major flaw I see.

Love his bone and I think he will transform nicely over the next hear or two. His neck set could be more attractive, but that doesn't matter when you're running. Is he a bit downhill or is that just the picture?

I feel like Tonalist is a great entry in Tapit's roster of sons, if the big grey dude is destined to be a sire of sires.

I thought he looked a little downhill as well (and maybe that is why his neck set is low-ish looking?), but sometimes I don't trust these pictures completely.

You'd think with the amount of money at their disposal they could actually hire someone with a smidge of talent to create their promotional shots for their stallions. I never have understood some of the big name farms using preschool level talent.

That's not a photo of the horse I'd use in an advertisement, but all they've really done is colored in the background so he stands out from it. Also, "chunk" is not a word I'd use to describe him, at least right now. I thought he was anything but. A year from now, might be a different story.

I think they meant "chunk" as in big, big-boned. He is certainly those things.

Yes, sorry! I didn't mean chunky monkey fat (though he may very well be one day, you're right), just...naturally thick. Lots of bone, lots of horseflesh. Just a big ol' horse.
