Bling Queen gave birth overnight at the Keeneland January sale. She's not listed as an Out. Anyone watching the sale?

Great news on Groupie Doll's 1st foal, premie Tapit colt who spent time @roodandriddle. Wayne Sweezey reports he's "doing super well" (cont)
(cont) left Timber Town abt 3 months ago for Whisper Hill in Citra, Fla. "She'll keep him to race, I promise you that, she won't sell him."

Shows a hammer price of $37,000 ... I turned in two hips too late in the stream to actually see them though. :-/Sparrow Castle wrote:Bling Queen gave birth overnight at the Keeneland January sale. She's not listed as an Out. Anyone watching the sale?

It's amazing how calm they are with all that hullabaloo going on around them. Looks like the buyer is Hurricane Hills.
Ramsey Farm
We had our first Kitten's Joy foal of the year here at Ramsey Farm. A gorgeous sweet filly weighing in at 129lbs. Her mother is Megachurch.

I saw that in several places. "Greed, that's just wrong, those people should be shot, the baby is going to die, etc."Ruffian_fan wrote:BlindLucky wrote:There's a video of them on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/872765383/vide ... 790860384/

ETA: Yikes at those ill-informed FB comments. Lord almighty. Foal and mare show zero signs of distress. The foal doesn't give a crap about what's going on as long as momma's chill, and momma is very chill. Had to laugh at someone saying the foal's tail was "between his legs." Err -- they're not dogs.
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

My favorite is: Foal is clearly stressed, has it's tail tucked between it's legs.BlindLucky wrote:I saw that in several places. Because horses are exactly like dogs.

Sorry, not the right thread for this news. This is the little guy born last year with medical issues and folks weren't sure he'd make it, let alone get to the races. Bloodhorse has pictures. I'm excited about him too.Insane Crazy wrote:Ahem, at his owners: pics or it didn't happen! Excited about this kiddo.Sparrow Castle wrote:Claire Novak @BH_CNovak

Oh, thank you! I got my brain mixed up and just now realized he was her 2015 foal. I should've known that, considering the whole "three months ago" thing. Regardless, great photos.Sparrow Castle wrote:Sorry, not the right thread for this news. Comments comments. They are so silly. What happened to foals in the wild? They got up within an hour, and got moving... These horses are going to live a life of human handling, this is nothing.Sheepish wrote:

Will Take Charge seems to stamp his foals. His first daughter o/o Private Ensign was born 3/1 at Siena Farm.
