Ok, that makes sense- but was looking for something more inspiring- seeming she is her last baby.
At least now I have a name for Mini Me, last I saw of her, she was Momma spitting image

"Oh, What fresh Hell is this?!"- Sheldon Cooper(quoted from Dorothy Parker)- Big Bang Theory

Nothing's been submitted. Hopefully they can do better than California Chromet.

Ha. I don't think there is a feminine version of the word pharaoh. Pretty sure Cleopatra was called Pharaoh, for example.

Yeah I know, I was just being an ass. ;) There really isn't a female version of Chrome though.

No, not at all :D Didn't stop them from making up one. Even if she can't run like her brother, Pharoah's sister still needs a name that doesn't make people cringe like "Chromet."

Well, thing is the Pharaoh was the regent - there were Queens in ancient Egypt as well, but usually were consorts. There were a few Queen Regents though but as far as I am aware only one can be safely referred to as a "Pharaoh" and that was Hatshepsut (actually one of the name suggestions I saw was "Little Hatshepsut" )- who would wear the Pharaonic headdresses and even wore the Pharaonic beard.
As far as I'm aware Cleopatra was Queen Regent but never "Pharaoh".

ETA: Does "Princess of Denial" fit in space wise  ?

If I could be paid to come up with horse and dog (registered) for a living I would do that. Too much fun.

Very cute. It looks like Yoshida is keeping this filly - I wonder where she will race
Just saw this! Finally... I was wondering what had happened to her since she was supposed to sell at Tattersalls but then didn't show up at all...
It seems that she will be trained by Roger Varian in Newmarket.

Thanks! I do happen to speak a little, and understand a fair bit. But I had to giggle after the paragraph because it is so dramatic. Snippets:
"Nothing But Dreams. A pedgiree with extra-class. Her mother is Germany's best mare of all times. No horse has won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe faster, than the (Champion? Not sure what Brümmerhoferin is but it seems to be a race specific term). Her father is Frankel, the best racehorse the world has ever seen."
Hyperboles, hyperboles everywhere :P

Here, I threw the article in google translate and this is what it spat out.
Here Nothing But Dreams looks in Newmarket from the Box
Nothing But Dreams. That is the resounding name of the first product of the wonder mare Danedream. Nothing But Dreams. A pedigree of the extra class. Her mother is Germany's best mare of all time. No horse won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe faster than Brümmerhoferin. Her father is Frankel, the best racehorse that has seen the world.

On January 01, the product of this mating was two years old. The racing career can therefore begin. Meanwhile, leaked out in which team Nothing But Dreams took a few weeks ago. The Yoshida family opted for the Kremlin House Stables Roger Varian.

Nothing But Dreams is thus in Newmarket only a few hundred meters as the crow of Danedreams two years Sister Only Me. This is trained by Luca Cumani for Coolmore group, father of the mare is Frankel's sire Galileo.

GaloppOnline.de asked Roger Varian how Nothing But Dreams far does that. "Of course it's a great honor and privilege that I have been asked by the Shadai Farm to train Nothing But Dreams. She is the daughter of an Arc winner from Champion Frankel. "

"I knew them previously from the stud, there as a small foal or small spreader. But it has become great and I'm glad, as she has made herself physically in the last three months. She went to the length and correctly interpreted, "said Varian.

"It has been broken in and is currently undergoing even slight Canter work. Of course it's early, but she has a good action and good character, "says Varian GaloppOnline.de. Whether the mare will debut this year, of course, it is too early to judge effectiveness.

All special weather of RaceBets cheer the debut but contrary to with great anticipation. Fabled 500: 10 there was a special that the mare is going to win in her life cost. When Nothing But Dreams for the first time is back in the starting boxes, it may not even be 50:10.
Soylent green is....tasty!!!

Holy Translator Malfunction, Batman.
That is almost as funny as the owner manuals that came with the early Honda motorcycles. Those Japanese-to-English language disasters were hilarious...unless you were actually trying to figure out a problem with the bike. :P ;)

I keep waiting to see a name for Vertigineux's 2013 Street Cry colt, who has been sitting unnamed at the top of my Virtual Stable. I don't see a death or export report for him. I wonder what's going on with him.
He has been exported. Unsure to exactly which country.

Thanks. Certainly better than a death report, but...dang...Coolmore, assuming he's still owned by Coolmore. Guess we wait till he hits the track or the breeding shed.

Very good! I hope that means he was showing something in training here. Thanks for finding that.

Vertigineux's last foal by the late Street Cry, and a full to Zenyatta? I would think that, no matter what he does on the track, some farm will want to give him a chance at stud. He was pretty handsome in the photo I saw of him as a yearling.
