You beat me to it, lol. She finally has her stakes win. She was a bit fractious in the paddock, make a nice run on the back side into the far turn and never looked back. Won by about 2 1/2. The place horse was 32-1, so will be some value there.

I was kinda thinking that in back of my head, but she was very much on her toes. Perhaps I am really thinking more about Zen- but don't Street Cry's take a bit to get there anyway- I realize that she just turned 6- but she was impressive last night. She does love that course, and if she is happy, would love to see here go again.

And, of course, there is the '14 MDO who should be showing up soon (Mini Me, lol).

Mr. LoPresti had her spot on last night, congrats to all!

Maybe they should send Samantha Nicole to LoPresti. He finally got Serene Melody her stakes win. Or Ben Colebrook, who managed to get a stakes win for Antonia Autumn at age 6, too.

Thank you!
Guess this was the plan all along. There have been mares that have run in foal, which I find interesting when it does happen. Hoping for a healthy baby!

Lani(USA), 2013C. Tapit(USA) x Heavenly Romance(JPN)(G1 Tenno winner by Sunday Silence), will be headed to the G2 UAE Derby at Meydan on March 26th with a domestic prep run in the Hyacinth Stakes at Tokyo on Feb 21th.
His trainer Mikio Matsunaga revealed the plan for his trainee today.

The Tapit 3yo colt has already been nominated to the Triple Crown races in the states.
If he finishes in the top two in the UAE Derby, he will be pointed to the the Kentucky Derby at Chrchill downs.
But if he fails to earn enough points in the UAE Derby, he will switch to the G1 Belmont Stakes with a prep run in the Peter Pan Stakes at Belmont Park.

It does sound like Koji Maeda, who had Sunday Break(JPN) in 2002, really wants to give his horse a shot in the US Triple Crown races again. :D :D :D

Go, Lani!!

The first half of this video is a very animated play session in the round pen by Partiro (Smart Strike x Wait a While), her 3-yr-old colt:

Name and trainer have been announced for the the 2014 half brother to Dubawi:

Watchman - Frankel X Zomaradah, by Deploy.

He is in training with Roger Varian - a bit of a surprise considering he is bred/owned by Godolphin.
