^^Thanks. It pleases me to see the offspring of their US purchases finding success in Japan. I mean, it'd be a waste for them to not do well.

He's a nice-looking colt, although, in the shot of him in mid-gallop, he seems like a compact, miler type, not a distance sort of build. I'd love to see a different view of him stretched out during his stride.

He raced at the back of the pack most of the way, finishing midpack. Pletcher said before the race that he would benefit from a start or 2. I still think that's code for, "don't expect much," but maybe he'll mature over the spring.

Honestly, I don't get breeding Rags to Galileo....except that she's owned by Coolmore. Rags is a purely dirt bred mare - especially on her sire's side...and they breed her to a completely grass-oriented stallion?

The family has produced major winners on the dirt and turf and had success with Sadler's Wells. I can see why they gave it a shot. It doesn't seem to have worked out well but they know that now and hopefully she doesn't go back to him.

I'd like to see how he does in his next race or on dirt, I think this was a pretty competitive MSW, was at the track today and the only comment I would have is he seemed small (at least from my perspective in the stands).

Serene Melody just won the Wintergreen Stakes at Turfway Park. She is a daughter of Street Cry out of hall of famer Serena's Song.
