Jack Milton is cheaper too ($6500 compared to $10,000). Unless his legs are screwed on backwards, he's definitely a good price. And he's a G1 winner.
Not sure why Summer Front is said to have a strong female family. His 1st and 3rd dams were unraced, and his second dam was not special. And none of the had progeny reports that made me sit up and say 'wow'. Am I missing something?

Have you looked at who they've produced?
Summer Front is a half brother to G1 winner Laragh.
2nd dam produced ill-fated G1 winner Siphonic.
The 3rd dam produced millionaire Dixie Dot Com.

Both have strong female families, but I think Summer Front's is a bit better.

I'm curious that there has been no announcement as to where Materiality is standing. Unless I missed it?

Had the pleasure of seeing this colt in the flesh in I think 2009 for the derby. Talk about a fine piece of horseflesh to see with your own eyes. RIP gorgeous.

Starine, that was my first thought when I found out. RIP Regal Ransom.

Their half sister Runaway Ransom (by Cherokee Run) has a few foals on the ground and is currently in foal to Itsmyluckyday for a 2016.
Soylent green is....tasty!!!

The 28yo son of Mr. Prospector remains in good hands. :D
But they are always trying to find more support and funds.

LOOK at him, he looks amazing!
Gulch was an incredible horse and the first one I followed from start to finish of his career........I'm glad he seems so happy; I can't believe he's 32. Wow.

I've always thought Animal Kingdom was a terrifically handsome horse.
Midshipman has an ungainly look about him...kind of reminds me of some well-groomed cow pony.
Street Sense appears to have a shaggy Kentucky winter coat. Did he just arrive in Australia?
Alpha has his handsome sire's looks. Elusive Quality is very elegant, and Girolamo really has that A.P. Indy look.

Discreet Cat looks like a bull. That neck, those forearms. He's a beast!
I love Animal Kingdom!
Hard Spun is a carbon copy of his sireline.
I also love Street Sense, but he's quite a robust looking horse.

I also noticed Street Boss stands under himself behind - sickle hocked? Or just the way he's standing.
