Some mares don't nick well with turf sires. Her first filly was injured so we will.never know if she was good and the rest were by turf sires. Her 4yo is a G1SW in Serbia, though that means little.RuffiantoRags wrote:Awe, welcome to KY Rags, love her! (Even though she hasn't reproduced anything of her caliber) Maybe the Pharoah breeding will
change that.

Miss Finland(AUS) had to undergo an operation earlier today for colic.
But she is comfortable in recovery tonight.

Lowe added that Lady Shipman’s dam Sumthingtotalkabt (Mutakddim), currently in foal to Poseidon’s Warrior, will be bred to Pioneerof the Nile in 2016. Her soon-to-be 2-year-old by Leroidesanimaux (Brz) will be offered at the Fasig-Tipton March Sale.

Hmmm... so what are the odds they keep/race the foal, or aim to make a killing at the weanling/yearling sales?

If they do keep the foal and she foals out at Taylor Made, what are the odds we'll get a Kentucky Chrome?
Could start a new trend for them, have her foal in a new state so we can have a stable full of Chromes. Oklahoma Chrome...just rolls off the tongue doesn't it?

Given that their TC dreams were thwarted by a Tapit last time out I would wager on the former ? Unless they want to sell her in foal, that would be an option too...lurkey mclurker wrote:Hmmm... so what are the odds they keep/race the foal, or aim to make a killing at the weanling/yearling sales?

I think they'd love that but someone beat them to Kentucky Chrome. There is a Get Stormy 2yo named that.Kelly Ann wrote:If they do keep the foal and she foals out at Taylor Made, what are the odds we'll get a Kentucky Chrome?

If that Get Stormy two-year-old looks anything like his sire, he comes by the "Chrome" in his name honestly. There's a reason Get Stormy's barn name was Clyde.

Today, let us introduce Princess of Sylmar who still attracts many enthusiastic fans in her home country. She now stays at our foaling barn and we are waiting for the day!
We put her photos, taken today and in the last January, side by side and realized how much her looking has changed from a great race horse to get ready to be a mom. But no worry! She stays beautiful and elegant as you can see in her face shot. She is in foal to Deep Impact and her due date is at the end of January. We cannot wait to meeting her baby!

Nothing makes me happier than seeing broodmares fat and fuzzy!Northport wrote:Princess of Sylmar looks terrific! That headshot of her is lovely
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!
