I don't know if she posts here anymore, but seeing the stake this weekend made me think of her. If she still reads here, I hope you are well. I think of you often when I post here and wonder about the mare you had and the little filly... a Disco Rico, I believe. I'm sure some of the other old timers could help me remember more.

Gin Talking S is a little 2yo filly stakes at Laurel on Saturday. Interestingly enough, a granddaughter of hers - Look Who's Talking - is entered to race! Hope she does her grandma proud.

I remember her and how excited she was about the Disco Rico foal. I often wonder about that foal and how it turned out.

Heck, I remember my good buddy Spurlock and his ornery mule avatar.

So many former posters whose sensible, informative, courteous posts I miss. . .
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Wracked my brain. Americelebration was the mare. Quick check of pedigree query shows the Disco Rico filly was Ilovethenightlife. Also a few more foals and now that I've seen their names I remember them, lol.

I may be pregnant and old but sometimes the brain pops things out.

To whoever may know Gin Talking offline, you were appreciated and missed.

and Flander's beat me to it! LOL

I haven't seen her post here in at least a few years, probably longer. But there is a user with that name registered.
Something happened on here and I believe she stopped posting because of it.

Stalker McCreep (aka The Knight Sky) started a dozen pages worth of an argument over the lighting of a photo with her.

Ah, yes. The argument over what "gadgets" we're used to capture a Dirt Mile win and make it apparently look darker in the sky than it was. Jeez almighty.
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

Sad to see her '09 filly was euthed, for a fractured knee, during her maiden run. :(
