I didn't realize Dolphus was a chestnut. Those are genes sneaking in from way back. (You have to go back three generations on his dam's side to find a chestnut and four on his sire's.)

I feel like I keep seeing Tiz Wonderful offspring doing pretty well on the track...just makes me regret his sale to Korea even more.
Maybe his previous owner has buy-back clause in the sales contract?

UJ looked good in that race. He appears to have filled out, and I'm seeing a bit of his sire in his looks and stride. Could be an interesting 2016 for the well-bred colt.

The narrowly-beaten runner up was Carrumba -- she is a daughter of Bernardini out of a half-sister to Dancing Forever.
