Thanks neighhey, just saw it on Smarty's F/B-guess I must have missed a race, the F/B said he was the first 3-time winner in Uruguay! I missed the race, was working and forgot the time-I hope there will be a replay somewhere. But Hank is awesome and gorgeous just like his papa!neighhey wrote:Looks like Hank Chinaski (URU) won. Nice--just his second start.

Hmm...that's weird. The race was definitely written as a maiden race, and he's only listed has having 1 prior start on ElTurf (not that they're always right).Jane wrote:Thanks neighhey, just saw it on Smarty's F/B-guess I must have missed a race, the F/B said he was the first 3-time winner in Uruguay! Aha...found info on the race Hank Chinaski just won...it was listed for horses who had not won at Maronas (I think). His 2 prior wins came at Las Piedras and Sint Mel, respectively. So, assuming his page on Maronas website is correct, his record is now 6-3-0-2. Here's the link to that info: http://hipica.maronas.com.uy/RacingInfo ... seId=49568
Interestingly enough, the 3 places I looked (ElTurf, Stud Uruguayo, and Maronas) all had different information regarding his race record (go figure!)

Well I guess that explains it, I guess!! Anyway that is a very good record!!!!! He is really pretty, I did see one of his wins, but I thought it was at Maronas., but guess I was wrong------I do remember now that there was something about him qualifying because his wins were not at Maronas. Thank you for the information, neighhey!!!!!!neighhey wrote:Aha...found info on the race Hank Chinaski just won...it was listed for horses who had not won at Maronas (I think). Nasa is back to the races -- 10/11 at Philly Park.
Came in third in an allowance race. Not a bad effort for first time after a long layoff.
He was out for a long time but started working again in September.
If he gets back in form he can definitely be a stakes horse, as he was previously.

Neshaminy had a pretty good third recently at Philly Park.
Res Judicata also had a third in the $150,000 Valley Forge Stakes at Philly Park10/17.
They are trying to run Res Judicata from off the pace as he was quitting early as a front runner.
Res started out with promise -- looked like he was going to be a star.

Nasa entered in race 8 allowance at Philly 11/2.
Should be the favorite in second time back after long layoff.
Nothing in here that really should be favored over him.
I guess the good news is that he came back from the first race after layoff in sound condition.

Nasa does not look like the same animal.
(may not be seeing him again for awhile -- or at all)
Neshaminy decent second at Philly to a tough rival Starry Moon.
