Sorry if this has already been posted, but do we know who Sophisticat went to this year? Last mating I am seeing is 2011 to Galileo- an unnamed filly- hope both are ok :(

She was sent to Australia in 2011. I'm not sure if there's a way to check who a mare went to down there though.

There's this website, http://www.studbook.org.au/, but it costs money to join.

Thanks for that, I did not know she was in Australia- if anyone has access and can look up for me- post here if you would be so kind.

With all the hubbub about how fertile Frankel was, I hope this is just an unlucky year for Vodka and she didn't have an underlying issue.
No, Vodka didn't have any underlying issue.

She has been in Europe since 2010, I can't see them bringing her back now... they clearly have a preference for European stallions. Then again maybe having a barren year is a good chance to ship her back.
It seems that she will still stay in Europe for at least another year.
Her owner Yuzo Tanimizu reportedly said; ''Frankel will basically remain our top choice for her next year mating. But I will search for other (European) stallions, too.''

I personally hope that Tanimizu will ship her back to Japan occasionally.
I'm always happy to see Japanese mares going abroad for breeding.
Still, Vodka herself is NOT a Sunday Silence-line broodmare.
So she CAN be bred to some of the world-class stallions that are standing in Japan.
It will be a big shame that she can't visit the likes of Stay Gold and Deep Impact.
These two ex-12F horses may say ''Frankel who?'' (oops sorry, sorry.... haha!).
To put it lightly, Stay Gold is already 19 years old....

Yes, War Front gets quite a few repeat customers.

Good Vibes also has a nice racehorse from War Front's first crop, named Warning Flag/Sweet Orange.

Tempo West actually has 4 foals by War Front - Declaration of War and Front Page Story, as you mentioned, and also War Pact (a 2008 gelding) and War Correspondent (2010).

Orate's 2012 foal died, as did the 2013 Divine Escapade. In addition, there's already a no foal report for Divine Escapade, Meghan's Joy, Protesting, Strike the Sky, Greenery for their 2014 foals.

Orate and Wend are owned by Claiborne. Extent, Leave, Might, Praise, and Quiet Now are all owned by Claiborne & Adele Dilschneider (as is Greenery). I think that's actually fewer Claiborne mares than that which have gone to War Front in past years.

Joseph Allen sent 13 mares to War Front this season (maybe 14 - is he also Joe Allen Stables, or is that someone else?). He bred and raced War Front, and probably still owns a substantial interest in him. Tempo West is one of his mares.

and Night and Day went to More than Ready

Sorry if this has already re-appeared, not sure with the recent hacking and all.

Thanks, starrydreamer. Is that from Greenery's War Front cover? Wasn't she also covered by Blame? My memory might be incorrect.

You are welcome! ;)
Sixieme Sens(USA) is still with Masatake Iida (Chiyoda Farm).
She gave birth to a colt by Brian's Time(USA)(Roberto!!) this year.
Here below might be the only pick of her (and her 2006 King Kamehameha filly Millefeui Attach) one could find on the internet.

Millefeui Attach (left) and Sixieme Sens (right) (pick taken in 2006)

Millefeui Attach(JPN), 1/2 to Universal Peace, gave birth to an Empire Maker colt this year.

According to her ownership, In Lingerie will be the first mare in foal to Frankel to be sold at auction. And they are pushing this for all it's worth. There's a website: Frankel's First:
