Equibase has been showing works at Los Al for an unnamed colt by City Zip x No Dress Code, by Distorted Humor, who is listed as bred in Turkey! The breeder's name certainly looks Turkish; I can only guess that he bought the mare and took her to Turkey where she foaled, and then sent the colt back to the U.S. to race?
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

It's likely the case. For instance, Shared Belief's full sister, Lady Candy, was foaled in Turkey and is in training at Churchill Downs :)

No Dress Code was sold to Turkey in 2012 at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock sale for $110,000. She foaled the full-brother to Reneesgotzip there, what is weird is, he doesn't have an Import/Returns on file, it says his foreign registration is Pending. Perhaps that has to be done before anything else can. The mare has a Returns pending as well. Both say "Missing Stud Book Cert/Export Cert"
