$15,000 is very small for a Breeder's Cup Classic winner who was also a multiple group 1 winner.

$15,000 is very small for a Breeder's Cup Classic winner who was also a multiple group 1 winner.

It's hardly a stallion making race. Check the fees for Ft Larned, Drosselmeyer, Invasor, and Ravens Pass and then get back to us.

The fact that anyone who follows racing more than superficially (not named Bode, Kaleem, Ahmed or Jill) doesn't have some level of comtempt for him is the problem, to be honest.

And whoop de damn doo the horse raced until he was 6. To think that's a credit to the trainer more than its a lack of interest from anyone wanting him as a stallion is naive. You think it's cooincidence that these stallions for the most part all wind up at the same farm?

Anyone know why he was retired? It seems he went from 4th in the Wood -----> Freshening ----> working on turf -----> retirement. Soundness perhaps?

Winstar always has ridiculous ads. THE fastest More Than Ready!!! That's quite a line.
I have zero interest in horses that win a MSW, a grade 1, and nothing else for the rest of their lives. Considering his G1 win was on a sloppy sealed track and he never did anything close to that again.

My favorite ads however are the TV ones about Bodemeister with his owner gushing about his first six furlongs in the Kentucky Derby ("I thought, what kind of horse is that?") without mentioning that he LOST the race.

Yeah, but anyone that saw that race knew exactly how good of a race it was.

Best race I've ever seen a horse lose, really. It's a shame he didn't stick around.
