A very unusual finish in this race, which was won resoundingly by the colts. It was almost like a parade. Win and place was a photo finish. Show went to flower bearer John Henry, who followed at a respectful (?) distance. Next came Dusty and Ruffian having a tug of war for the Precious, followed by the ever hopeful Criminal Type waiting for The Precious to get dropped in the tussle. Tail lights of the parade were Catalina and Tiger Dancer.
I am herewith handing over to Tiger Dancer the keys to the cat house, along with the score card and pencil.
