Saeed bin Suroor is not doing well in the last 2 years as Charlie Appleby for me. But Appleby had 2 juveniles Gr1 winners (Outstrip 2013, Charming Thought 2014). And Saeed is not good trainer of juveniles.

I personally don't think he's a good colt.

Greenpointcrusader goes in the SAR 4 today. Bernardini x Ava Knowsthecode. He's a full to Algorithyms and a half to Justin Phillip and Keyed Entry.

He looked good, a little further and maybe he wins. I can't believe the Pletcher firster with JV aboard went off at what he did. Exacta paid $71!

I don't think we've seen many Fastnet Rock offspring run in this country. It will be interesting to see how a filly with such strong grass breeding takes to the dirt.

Not this country, and not on dirt, but the Attfield-trained Fastnet Rock (Aus) filly Uchenna (Ire) won the Ontario Matron (G3) going 8.5f on synthetic at Woodbine on Saturday.

Treasuring runs in the 7th at Del Mar. She is a 2yo filly sired by Smart Strike and out of Teeming, who is a half sister to Rags to Riches and Jazil.

She didn't really do anything. Talking heads speculated she was likely in here for fitness and experience. Will probably target a grass race next out.

Often, a 1/2 to Giant's Causeway by Galileo, is entered in the 4th at Saratoga on Monday. She finished 5th last October at the Curragh in her only start. Honey Child Ryder, by MDO out of Honey Ryder, is also entered.
