Does summer wind race? Or do they breed to sell?

It seems they breed to sell. They bought the mare Love Me Only who went on to produce Epsom Derby 3rd Storm The Stars for them but the colt is owned by someone else. They actually prominently buy big name fillies and mares at sales like Fasig Tipton. They also don't seem to have their own silks so I expect one day we may either see Irish Pharaoh in a big sale or sold privately for a big price.

Then again, I can't find anything about them consigning any horses in the sale, perhaps they would be consigned through an agent? Taylor Made? But bare in mind, I've only looked at the Bloodhorse article history

They have raced on occasion, but almost exclusively breed to sell. In the past they have split horses between Taylor Made and Lane's End; I haven't paid enough attention to know if that is still the case.

Country Life & Merryland Farms posted this tonight The colt at the top is the only one specifically identified (Friesan Fire x Vale Valley). Poor little guy is an orphan, they lost Vale Valley to colic about a month ago, just days after he was foaled. At least he has some buddies now!

You are not kidding- this little one is a half to Double's Partner

Wonder if Serena's Sister will be bred again- she's getting up there now, much like older sister - she is now 21, would be 22 by the time the foal is born if she is bred again.

Littleprincessemma isn't set to be sold any time soon, but any of her colts will be sold, while fillies will most likely be retained.
