so highly regarded as an early 2yo that Coolmore bought into him with plans to stand him in the future, but he never won again after his first 2 starts. he hasn't run since the April 7th Lafayette, and hasn't worked since June 6.

I actually looked for him last week and couldn't find anything beyond what you did, his cert. was with Churchill Downs when I looked. I guess he has a G1 now, as long as it isn't reversed, so they can sell him to stand somewhere, like they did with Eight Rings? I'd be truly shocked if he stood with Coolmore. But its also possible he got injured or something in the Lafayette and they are going to bring him back, cause look at that race, its kind of ?????? This is what the entire field of the Lafayette has done since the race.

1 - Corona Bolt - hasn't raced again, hasn't worked since May 10th
2 - Hejazi - hasn't raced again, had first work back on August 22nd and has had 3 more since
3 - Freezing Point - brokedown and euthanized in next race, Pat Day Mile on Derby Day
4 - Lugan Knight - has raced 3x and has been training/racing since the race
5 - Gulfport - hasn't raced again, hasn't worked since June 6
6 - Determinedly - raced twice, is currently entered, was active since the race
7 - Hurricane J - hasn't raced again, hasn't worked either

Man I bet whoever signed the check is feeling pretty bad about themselves. Can't feel good buying a expensive horse then them never winning ever again

Doubt they even blink twice about it. All the Coolmore owners are insanely wealthy.

Completely missed that he had a race at the end of June and won. He is entered tomorrow at Saratoga. After the AOC tomorrow, he might return to stakes.
