i thought i remember reading something about her passing away, but i can't find anything confirming that.

is she still with us? if so, where is she?

Not that I know- last I heard she was a broodie in Australia- think she has been there for about 2 years now? Perhaps someone could confirm? Would break my heart if she is gone- that would be Serena's third baby to pass

Not sure of the current status of Colorful Score - last I knew he was in Dubai- and had appeared now and again in entries at Meydan. I have an email somewhere from about a year ago letting me know he was still in training- if I can find it will ask for a status update.

Last foal that I could find (posted on this board anyway) was a 2013 filly by f. Fastnet Rock - she had her on 9/4/ 13. I think that Starine did post a pic of her sometime this year, going to see if I can find that by doing a search again.

ETA- it was a pic of her as a foal-but still worth looking at



I know that she is a grandmother now- Pursuit of Glory has had at least one foal.

Her last Jockey Club registered foal was 2011, Sanima (IRE). There is no death report for Sophisticat on the registrar. She is exported.
I think serenassong is right, I think she is in AUS.

i wondered about her because she's the grand dam of sivoliere, who's running today.

I checked the Australian Stud book for you and this is the result:

2014-No mare return
2013-Filly (Fastnet Rock) born on 04/09
2012-Slipped (Fastnet Rock)

Also another thing I found is that Suppose(USA) Danehill x Sophisticat was in Australia but she was exported to New Zealand this year.
