Malibu Coast was just pulled up on the backstretch of the 5th at Santa Anita, a 1 1/8-mile AOC on the turf. No news yet.

But we will get no update from "Day At the Races," because Fox ended its racing coverage before the analysts ever got any news.
This is the latest:

Per NYRA Veterinarian Department Director, Secret Money sustained an injury to her left foreleg in the gallop out of the @TheNYRA #BAQ 7th.
She will be transported via equine ambulance directly to Cornell Ruffian Equine Specialists for assessment for surgery.

David Grening from DRF had tweeted earlier:
Secret Money, who was down on the turf, has now gotten up. She has a boot on her left fore and has been led into the equine ambulance.

Secret Money, vanned off after suffering injury to left front leg after winning Saturday’s Floral Park at Aqueduct, could undergo surgery Sunday, per trainer Brendan Walsh.

Terrible fall in the G3 Sydney Stakes at Randwick, when a horse went down and over, with it landing limply flat on its side when the camera view left it. I thought I heard the name Think About It, but I'm not sure. :(
Fandrool hasn't said much, but tonight's on-air crew happen to be scattered between California and Australia. That might slow information down a bit. Maybe we'll get updates.

UPDATE: The on-track analyst at Randwick just relayed the info that the horse who fell in the previous race, Think About It, got up and appears to be OK. Such unexpected good news. :o

Does anyone know what happened at the gate before the 7th race at Belmont@Aqueduct? Tuned in to see all the horses being walked behind the gate, all the riders off their mounts, and the #2, 3 and 4 horses scratched. The rider of the 3, Romero Maragh, has been taken to the hospital, apparently after being injured in the gate?

The 3 panicked in the stalls, went up, and ended up half on his side, kicking into the 2's stall. Don't know what happened to the jockey, but the medics did seem to be in a hurry......

Who owned the colt that died? And is the mare still alive?

Leslie died a few years ago. The colt was an RNA so I assume Clarkland still owned him at the time he died.

Can't find anything official, there is nothing on the JC (no death report, export, or RMB).

He was working in 2021 towards a start and according to the Horse Following section (Hard Spun foals thread), he was entered a couple times in June but scratched and didn't work again.

The only thing I can find is someone on HRN 2+ years ago said, "Retired". That was it, nothing more. His name makes it pretty hard to do any searching though cause so many other things come up.

Do we know if Gold Tribute is still with us?
His last foals were born in 2019. He would be thirty this year. Stood at Red River Farm in LA.
