I just watched the replay, looks like he broke down on his right hind. From what I could see, the leg looked like it was swinging.
That is sad

Hopefully I am wrong, I love CC. But it doesn’t seem he sires very sound horses. We have had a few breakdown here in Ohio in the last few years.

Congruent has been pulled up sharply in the fourth at Gulfstream. He had the lead and just pulled up

Oh no! That's depressing as hell. Pretty sure it was his first race back

From Emiratesracing.com Steward reports
GO CHROME GO (ARG)
On jumping was bumped another runner. Shortly after the horse commenced to buck and was eased out of the race. When questioned, jockey J da Silva advised that the horse resented the microchip in the saddlecloth, as it was causing discomfort to GO CHROME GO (ARG). Trainer Mr. J Olascoaga was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again it must complete one satisfactory stalls test.

Well that’s a relief!! But it was weird, even the jockey was looking down towards the right rear.

I wonder if they use them for GPS/individual time(splits) purposes?

If the colt was trying to buck off/kick at his saddle (maybe why he looked off behind?), could that microchip be embedded in something larger and lumpier? Which made it feel like someone put a burr under his saddle? :?

I don't understand this at all, it could be placed anywhere, in the hem or even on a rein or bridle, why would it be placed anywhere that the horse could feel it? (I've had to wear timer chips in 5k races and just tied them to into my shoelace  )

He was exported to Argentina at some point. No reports indicate he's returned.

This FB post from 2016 includes photos of him: https://www.facebook.com/eldatohipicoec ... 4085905422

There's no report for Forefathers in the Stud Book Argentino, so apparently he didn't end up there or if he did, sired no foals.

He has 2020 foals in Ecuador. I'll have to look to see if I can find anything more though.

Was here in 2020 https://www.facebook.com/profile/100063 ... orefathers

Its like a wall after that. I don't know where to search for anything Thoroughbred related in Ecuador and any my normal search methods are all bringing me back to the Facebook I linked above.

Tyler's Tribe ran at Oaklawn R8 today, led much of the way and then stopped. For those who were wondering, chart says he bled again.

Sadly means he is only ruled off for what 30 days? since its more than a year past the first 2 bleeding incidents. And by the time he can race again, he'll be back down to one again because the 3rd incident was in April 23.... I wish his owner/trainer and the other owner would just accept it. He needs retired. Its beyond cruel.
