I was going through the online Japanese studbook and saw that Blanc Manger, a white daughter of Shirayukihime, died on March 12 of this year.

California stallion Coach Bob (Bertrando) passed away last Thursday due to kidney disease.
He was multiple stakes placed, a four-time winner, and had several winners from few to race.

It was sad, and I suppose the reason why Churchill closed its super-expensive new turf course.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 1:43 pm Gingrich (Mr. Speaker) suffered a 'catastrophic' injury in the 2nd at Churchill, a 1-mile $50,000 Claiming for 3yo at Churchill, and has been euthanized.

RIP to Slew Tang Clan. He broke down and was euthanized today at Parx. What a cool name, and looked like a sweet horse from the pics I saw of him on Twitter.

Sorry to hear that. A son of Honor Code, I first remember seeing his name in the entries at Lone Star and Sam Houston. RIP.genuinerizk wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 6:24 pm RIP to Slew Tang Clan. Sad. I don't think Ascot has many breakdowns...although, to be honest, how would we know? The commentators, both British and American, NEVER said a word about his breakdown.
I wonder how many horses are lost there and we never know because the British powers-that-be don't want any bad news to blemish the Royal meeting.

Terrible news. I had hoped that the statuesque son of Dynaformer would carry on his sire's legacy, especially as a turf influence.
Dang, Dynaformer has been unlucky with some of his best sons, like Barbaro.

Sadly Americain was pretty unpopular at stud. Serving a total of only 50 mares in his past 4 seasons & his only Stakeswinner is a mare.
