MIDWEEK MAYHEM ~ RESULTS ~ 1/15 @ DELTA DOWNS

This is the Reigning HOTY reporting live from the Dog House
where a major protest is taking place outside
Local authority has been called
Protest Signs read:
Colt Injustice
Colts Outnumbered
SS = 7/3 MM 6/3
Filly Discrimination
Valium slipped into our feed
Where are KD / Raven / RSA / RQ when we need em?
We may be good
We may be great
But when we are so outnumbered we wind up in the Dog House
accompanied by humiliation, humble pie & crow for dinner
So until the Authorities arrive to sort this all out
here is the summation of the events of today:
GotaDun-QH led the way out of the gate
I fired a Shot as we went into the turn to Steal the Lead
Meanwhile behind me were Cigarshop & Catalina
making strong moves of their own
GotaDunQH not to be outdone came out of the turn and
stole the lead back from me
Running behind them was Tiger Dancer - Ruffian - John Henry
Far at the back were Dusty & El Prado who both stalled exiting the gate
and were having trouble getting into stride
At the top of the stretch it looked like GotaDunQH was going to have
everything go her way to the wire
I on the other hand tripped on a beer can that had landed on the track
--- lost all focus when beer is involved -- and backed up badly
John Henry found another gear and moved up gamely
But suddenly Tiger Dancer seemed aware of the intense glare of Cigarshop's Eyes
---bolting so fast it was like a blur as she shot past everyone in her way including
John Henry who had gained so much ground that he was just a length behind GotaDunQH
She left Cigarshop in her wake watching her tail disappear in the distance
But Cigarshop being the courageous Colt he is--
always up for a good chase when it comes to Tiger Dancer
followed her right up the rail as if her explosive move had lit his fire
Down the Stretch --
It felt like watching a repeat of Super Saturday as Tiger Dancer roared her way
right past the front running GotaDunQH to take command
Deja Vu all over again for this Fierce Filly who is on fire lately
GotaDunQH not showing signs of slowing down stayed right with her to the wire
but Tiger Dancer proved to be too much to catch
John Henry running very well completed the Trifecta
Cigarshop rounds out the Superfecta
Also Ran
Dusty
Ruffian (DC)
Catalina
Criminal Type
And thankfully El Prado Snuck in & stole the Calculator for next week
giving my tired fingers a rest
Luckily the Keg was empty & the Cable company notified to shut off
until further notice
Congrats Tiger Dancer for an impressive final furlong
and leaving Cigarshop needing a stiff drink
Heres the prices - report errors to Ruffian not me
I dont have puter access very much
