Welcome to Mountaineer Park in the heart of Moonshine Country.
Due to the Pandemic their will be no race fans in the grandstand.

You can park your Pick-ups around the track.
Their are no concession stands open but,
you can purchase from the trunk of Bubba's car --
chew, jerky, possum on a stick, grandma's Bath Tub Gin and White Lightning.

A sip of that stuff sent my racoon hat flying,
please return it when found, I think my toupee is in it.

A Tractor has put the gate in place,
horses approach with high energy, snorting, kicking
and looking for Jed & Jethro for more of the vitamin water (Hooch).

The jockeys have asked for seat belts.

The sound of a long rifle sends them down the track.

Gunfire, horn honking and a few Yea-Haws follow them around the track.

Tiger sprints to the lead as if chasing a squirrel.

Ruffian and Cruzan close behind spitting tobacco juice on the track causing
the others behind to a slipping and looking like uncoordinated square dancers.

Ruffian , blunny and Cruzan have moved to the front
and picked up some high octane juice from a Hatfield's pick-up
thus producing a little flame from the rear of the discharge area.

The others have stopped to enjoy a fiddler and break into a energetic 4 step.

Dusty(DC) and Ruffian tied for the lead, head down the stretch
but a noticeable shaking is occurring from withdrawals
since they haven't been able to get another high octane cocktail.

Blunny trailing the leaders has found some clean air
away from the blue flame exiting the rear-ends of the leaders.

He has super charged himself with Red Bull
and is flying past Dusty and Ruffian to the wire.

He then is presented with a trophy from Miss Moonshine
who won cause she had the most teeth when she smiled.

A Hay Wagon goes out to pick up the rest and they received a consolation prize
of a gift certificate for a Possum Stew dinner at McCoy's Road Kill Café.
